Attack of Our Lady of Victory, Pesalai

Six civilians were killed and around 50 injured when the church was attacked on June 17 2006. SL Navy was accused by eye witnesses but they denied responsibility and blamed the LTTE instead. The SL Navy also shot at houses and set fire to 40 fishing boats and 45 fishing wadiyas.
