WARMAP writers’ workshop, “Education, reconciliation, and heritage in 20th/21st-century Asia”, Institute for Advanced Study, University of Konstanz, 25-28 June 2015

In order to zero in on our first output, select WARMAP core members met at Konstanz on 25-28 June 2015. Following fruitful discussions and a visit to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site Reichenau Island, the network’s members were able to help finalize a survey article on Asia’s memory boom and the commemoration of World War II across the region, as well as a journal forum on wartime globalization in 1930s and 1940s Asia, both of which were produced under the WARMAP umbrella.
